Basic Life Support (BLS)

o   BLS FULL and UPDATE: Instructor-led training course designed to teach healthcare professionals how to perform high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) individually or as part of a team.  BLS Skills are applicable to any healthcare setting.  BLS students will learn rescue techniques for adults, children and infants.  Intended for anyone who provides health care to patients in a wide variety of settings, both in and out of the hospital, and for anyone entering into a health career related training program.

 

o   BLS HEARTCODE: Blended learning - a combination of eLearning, in which a healthcare professional completes part of the course online in a self-directed manner and a hands-on session with an Instructor.  The online portion must be completed before the class https://elearning.heart.org/course/437 and a copy of the AHA online course completion certificate must be brought to the Instructor-led hands-on session.
